Alien TYC 2009 resolutions

A new year means a fresh start and new objectives. I find it important to list down the goals I need to achieve for the year. This list acts as a constant reminder to me on what promised to myself to achieve by end of 2009.

  1. Health
Health is the number 1 most important asset of my life. By staying healthy, all of my resolutions below will be achievable. To stay healthy, I will exercise at least twice a week by jogging, going to the gym, swim, play football, skate and cycle. I understand that there will be a wavepool attraction in Sentosa by end of this year. There will be artificial waves up to 3m high! WOW! A sports which I want to try as well. And of course I need to eat well, sleep enough and stay happy.
  2. Relationship
I would like to meet more buddies online/offline and enlarge my network and create relationships with people who are interested in the hobbies I am having fun with
  3. Technology
I will learn and be a expert to develop LAMP web sites and also get involved in developing apps for Google Android Phone! By end of the year, I will be able create interesting websites and useful applications
  4. CIO Dot Com Blog
I will blog once a week and ensure the contents to be of interested to you. I will make use of SEO and online marketing to ‘broadcast’ my blog online
  5. Career
This will be the year whereby I will be an “expert” in the using Open Source System for Business and hopefully I get rewards with a bigger pay check
  6. Finance & Accounting
I need to save 35% of my salary per month and make my money work harder. I will also learn about accounting in a business which will help in my future ventures.
  7. Personal development
Sawadee Khap, I always have interest in the Thai Language. Now, I am only able to speak basic Thai and by year end, I will be able to speak fluently. Presentations skills have to be improve so that I can ’sell’. To achieve that, I will have to practise and conduct more presentation.

Sounds a lot to achieve for 2009 but hey, I have 12 months to do so.

If you not state your goals to achieve for 2009, it is still early days and you can start planning today :)
